The brief from Bacchus Wine Merchant was to create an off-premise brand that was clearly from the Marlborough region of New Zealand.

New Zealand is referred to as ‘the land of the long white cloud’. We created a story of what happens below the clouds – mountains, villages and life within the Marlborough Sounds. Blue sky and blue water. There are giant land snails in the Marlborough region, which have been oversized to create a whimsical brand story.

The clouds above create an interesting ‘negative space’ effect for shelf impact, whilst the light, playful colours gives reference to the fresh, zesty wine inside.
